Arif Hussain Mir, widely known as Arif Mir, is a youth leader and social activist from Assam, recognized for his commitment to democratic values, student rights, and grassroots social reform. His journey is deeply rooted in personal struggle, which continues to shape his empathetic and reform-oriented leadership approach.
He served as the Vice President of the Post Graduate Students’ Union (PGSU) at Gauhati University, where he strengthened student representation, promoted democratic participation, and advocated institutional accountability.
Currently, he serves as the President of The Way Foundation, building a structured platform dedicated to sustainable social reform, youth-driven transformation, and community empowerment.
